Specialist Training Consultant and Therapist

Martin is a senior lecturer in the social sciences at Nottingham Trent University and an independent training consultant. He specialises in extreme difficult behaviour in the workplace and personality issues which go well beyond simply awkward. He has over twenty-five years training experience in communication, interpersonal skills, conflict management and personal safety. He is also a psychotherapist specialising in the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, phobias and PTSD.

Presenting and advising directly to a range of organisations on a range of issues that not only cause difficulties but drain the very life out of teams and people at all levels he also presents to a variety of Public and Private Organisations both here in the UK and in the United States of America. Martin designs and writes training programmes for individuals and groups and develops personal coaching strategies.

He is a member of The Institute for Leadership and Management - ILM and the Chartered Management Institute - CMI as well as a life member of the Open University Psychological Society and an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy - BACP. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in psychotherapy working from solution focused and brief therapy methods. He has a Bachelors degree in psychotherapy and a Doctorate in Psychology.

Trainer Profile : Mary Hind MSc FCIPD

 

Specialist Training Consultant and Assessor

Mary is an experienced HR professional who has specialised in Leadership and Management Development for over 30 years. She has an MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management from Nottingham Trent University, is a Fellow of the CIPD and a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management. She has particular interest in the psychology of management and is an NLP practitioner.

Her employment experience covers management roles in Local Government, Nottinghamshire Police and Nottingham Trent University. She has had responsibility for managing and delivering the Leadership and Management Development provision at all levels within these large organisations as well as having wide experience of managing teams and individuals herself.

A qualified Assessor and Verifier she has worked as an External Verifier and External Assessor for the Institute of Leadership and Management for over 15 years supporting training providers nationally in the delivery of their programmes. Mary also delivers modules to students working towards their membership of the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development at Foundation and Intermediate level.
